Reginald and Margaret Hawkins

We are Reginald & Margaret Hawkins from Abbotskerswell, Devon, England. We first met when Margaret was only ten years old I Reginald 2 years older, she was my sisters best friend and we married 8 years later from then.

We lived in Newton Abbot initially, have two sons and 4 grandchildren (2 boys & 2 girls). 12 years ago we moved to this typical Devonian village with 13th Century Church, 1 shop, 1 Post Office & 2 Pubs We are craft minded people and started doing machine embroidery about 6 years ago.

 Brother Super Galaxy 3000 and the 2 Brother Super Galaxy's 2100 both with PE-Design Version 6. We are self taught and discovered digitising approx. 2 years ago and have been hooked ever since. We digitise our own designs and then spend many happy hours creating the finished articles. Any we don’t use we give to local charities and hospitals to help raise funds for much needed projects.

Our leisure time is spent breeding tortoises and looking after our 4 Chihuahuas (Gintee, Holly , Harvey & Justin). Wildlife surrounds us in our garden and we love to watch the Birds, Foxes, Badgers, Frogs and Newts which pay us a visit.
